Hey whats going on, I'm getting ready to start majoring in aerospace engineering and astrophysics and I'm trying to find the best laptop/ 2-in-1 for school. I'm going to need it for 3D cad work, MATLAB data crunching, and preferably take  notes on it as well. I have been looking into the Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, HP Spectre x360, and the Razer Blade. I like the pen and touch screen aspects of the Surface's and Spectre, that would help me take take notes and not need paper, but I like the portability of the Razer Blade, and the potential to make it a pretty good gaming rig if I so choose. I do have to say that I haven't gamed in months though so I don't know if I would even go for that.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which one (or what else) I should get for my majors? Or should I wait for something that's coming out soon?

Also, price isn't really a factor, just looking for what would best work for what I need.

Thanks!

EDIT: Also, Lower Weight and good battery life is a huge plus for me. My current laptop has a shot battery and weights nearly 10 pounds, its a hassle for school. Plus it gets really hot really fast and the fans sound like jet engines 90% of the time. Would rather avoid that this time around.
