If OP does a case upgrade to something with a window, then it's going to stick out like a sore thumb in any colour scheme. Green PCBs just aren't seen on anything anymore, and close to nobody thinks they're beautiful.

i still don't get what's up with people making their computers beautiful , cable manage and dust cleaning yeah 100% needed. But giving it colors , rgb and other bullshit is a waste of money and time

Haha not every fucking shite psu will explode.

It's brain-boilingly stupid to gamble your entire PC on a cheapass power supply. A power supply failure can take out your entire PC. Want to play lottery and pray for the best that YOUR shit power supply won't fail? That's an idiot's gamble. That's like saying 'hey, not every shite car breaks down!'. It's still at significantly more risk of breaking down than a better-built car.

Don't be misleading to OP in your ignorance.

The same way people like to decorate their rooms or embellish their desks. You're in the minority if you don't care about making your PC look nice.

Also, you're being a hypocrite. Didn't you just say you think green PCB RAM is beautiful? So when I say it's not and people should get neutral colours at least, you say you don't know what's up with people beautifying PC builds?

Dude, you gotta get off you high tier super float your boat octane horse. He is trying to game for a while and save his money to most likely upgrade again, with time comes money, he needs something he can scrape by with. And if he does upgrade the only parts that he is spending a little extra on is a ryzen mobo, cpu, and then some ram. Things take time, and patience not like you who are rude and pushy asf.

Alright, try this benchmark on for size. Watch an 845 equivalent get its ass kicked by the Pentium G4560.

Reasoning? You were wrong, and turned this into an INtel vs. AMD flame war.

At least try to make your own arguments. Two wrongs don't make a right, so it's pretty illogical trying to team up with someone who's also wrong.

'You're right, and I'm wrong, so I'm angry'. This doesn't constitute a defense.

Shite power supplies are more prone to failure. The chances of one failing are higher than a better-build power supply.

If I notice an inconsistency, I'll talk about it. It's not my fault for noticing it, it's your fault for having one.

I'm not wrong, not every shite PSU will explode. My point still stands strong.

It's not a strong point, and recommending a terrible power supply on that basis is still a terrible idea, which someone here did.

Not every shite PSU explodes, but enough of them do to make buying one a risk. That's why people shouldn't buy them

Back up your data and take it apart if you're willing. The HDD is definitely a SATA drive and can be salvaged, but you'll have to discard the RAM. It's DDR3 and won't work with modern platforms like LGA 1151 or AM4.

@Haeking did, and it deserves to be noted that it's a very bad recommendation, along with an outdated CPU.

I think it would be more beneficial if my parents can use this computer and i could just build my own

I wasnt even trying to argue man, this guy is just a force. I made a recommendation for his budget, and I stuck by it. I didnt call him out on his build and he's been nothing but rude to others. That is all.

Dude you are the only person who called out anyone, its a recommendation not for you for the original poster. Im stating my opinion you are too, I did not judge it I respected it while you are calling others out for ideas that are very well valid in the pc world, you are being an arrogant douche. So take a second, and fuck off. And dude let a man have his opinion if others say its a bad build it is not just you, an idea is meant to be held, and he isnt wrong about psu's you are just going on tangents being rude.

Majority is irrelevant when it comes to facts.

The Athlon x4 845 is worse than the G4560 in every way.

  • It's much slower because of how old the architecture is
  • It eats more power
  • It doesn't have an upgrade path
  • Its RAM (DDR3) doesn't work on modern platforms.
  • Despite all this, it still costs the same.

I'm calling you out because you're wrong, but you insist on insulting my character rather than critiquing my argument. You constantly derail this thread with personal insults and 'fuck offs' just because you're angry. That won't make you correct, I'm afraid. I won't go down to your level and trade insults; there are other people here who deal with that stuff.
