Should i Upgrade my cpu or gpu?

My Pc is currently running a GTX 650 ti from asus.

Cpu is i5-3470 with a cooler master heatsink.

 

I have $500, and in my area i could get a gtx680 or a corsair h100i with a 3570K.

 

So should i get a gpu or cpu with cooler?

 

P.S, PC parts in my area are not so cheap, maybe due to shipping to the distributors?

Your cpu is plenty powerful. Get a new gpu and an ssd if you don't have one already.

I would definitely go with the GPU. With 4k coming and games getting tough to run such as Star Citizen you'll need the extra horsepower. I'd go with this ASUS GTX 780 from NCIX US for $509.99 & Free Shipping.

Get the 680, your CPU is fine.

Get a R9 280x, I think that is around $400ish in Singapore.

OP lives in Singapore and I'm pretty sure NCIX doesn't ship internationally and if they do the total cost will be a lot more than $510.

GTX 770,

Your CPU is very capable.

If you cant find a GTX 770 then buy a GTX 680(its the same card but a bit slower and more expensive so it doesnt make sense)

Or if you can find one i'd get a R9 290 and OC it. I might wait for after market coolers if your going that route.
