That is weird haha well what i have in the list is a

corsair 460x case

intel i5 7600k or i5 7500

asus rog strip h270f

cooler master hyper 212x

kingston sad 120g

evga superNOVA 750 power supply

evga 1050 t1 4gb video card

and a wd blue 1T hard drive

8 gb hyper x fury ddr4

Hey Guys i am new to building a pc but have wanted to do it of a while and my computer I'm using right now is getting pretty old and worn out. so i included a part list in my description here on pc part picker and i just wanted some advise. Like is a i5 7600k much better to have than a cheaper i5 7500 with out overclocking also i just wanted you guys to check my mother board i don't wanna get something over kill but i also want it to have some room for future expansion. I'm very excited to build my first pc and i just wanted some good tech advise before i pull the trigger and get this bad boy going. trying to keep things under the 1500 mark so that is why i did not go for a i7 processor. Just going to be using for my daily computer, gaming and i want to get into little video editing nothing fancy just stuff for me and my family

Update! so i see that my parts list is a mess haha see this is why i did this thanks guys! so if you guys have a set up in the 1000 to 1400 dollar range with that case i want. Or something similar i would love to see what i can do. Like i said really new to this but i find this all very fun and interesting.

More cores and threads so better for video editing. Plus the cores and threads can future proof you for a while.

$15 over, if you really can't spend the extra you could get a CXM 450w instead.

Would be waste to go to a 1080 in the future, since why not just get a 1080 now would be my question.

Of course! 7500 don't have hyper threading. While AMD has it!
