I know I post a new build that I am doing to build like every 2 weeks but have done some revising and ya.

1. Budget & Location
$2200.00 MAX with monitor. USD.

2. Aim

2k Gaming. Gaming, gaming, gaming. Reddit, Reddit, Reddit. Also Red and black color scheme other then that CPU Fan everything is mainly red and black. Really would like to keep the same case. QUIET PLEASE I BEG YOU. My current build is so loud.

3. Monitors

1 - 27" 1440p monitor and 1 - 27" 1080p montior

4. Peripherals
The 27" 1440p monitor that is in there now.

5. Why are you upgrading?
Can't do 2k gaming with my current build. (Specs in sig)

Reasoning:

i7 4770k - Newer games like BF4 are using the hyper threads.

Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler - Nice quiet fan. Don't want water cooling.

Asus hero - Nice boards contains a lot of featues matches the color scheme.

8GB 2400 RAM - Current games are also using that high speed ram. 8 GB is more then enough for gaming too. I will have 2 dims left open just incase.

SSD - Right now after one year my HDD has 396 GB used. That is like mazed out I will be uninstalling a lot of programs.

780 - Best 2k card at this time. (Quiet too!)

Define r4 - Quiet, looks good, simple, clean

Case fans - More case fans plan to under volt and have it nice and cool.

PSU - QUIET QUIET QUIET!

DVD write - just because

Windows 8.1 - 30 dollars for pro not bad not bad

Your current build is fine. Just get an aftermarket 290 when they come out, a Hyper 212 Evo, and a new case.
