Fine for stock speeds although I'd highly recommend absolutely no OCing ;)

having headroom is good.

Most people I see would recommend 500 watts and up for this build... Not really needed.

its for efficiencys sake, you usiualy get peek efficiency at 40%-60% of max

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

for overclocking, voltage spike and long-term use its needed, as you may know, caps degrade overtime.

Yeah.

So for a $20 or something premium you want to get that teeny bit of 2% efficiency? ok

nah but it will last longer and cost you less in power bills if you keep on using it. future upgrades like better GPU or CPU wont need to incude an extra cost for a PSU aswell. id rather pay $20 extra now instead of $60 later.
