nVidia Quadro 4000?

Hi!

I have a friend who owns a Sapphire R9 290.

He can get an nVidia Quadro 4000 for 50$

He will get his video-output from the r9 290. But will he have better performance for gaming?

That's all! Thank you!

290 is better by a quite a large margin.

..ok, to answer your question the 290 will be better for gaming Quadro will be better for color work and pure rendering.

No he will not see any boost in performance. If he was running another Nvidia card he might see like a 1 or 2 fps increase due to physx (is that even a thing anymore?) but since his other card is a 290 he wont see any difference at all. Not worth the $50.

Nope. The Quadro is purely a workstation card. Not at all designed for gaming.

Modern integrated graphics are better than most quadros in terms of gaming.
