Also if rbg is an option i want it. Lastly i would like an overall good io (6-8 usb ports, maybe a type c, etc) Any good recommendations? ps please dont link boards that are out of stock.

I just want to give some suggestions for the rest of your build.

Why WD Black

Why STRIX

But otherwise perhaps the B350 Tomahawk? Its B350 though so no SLI.

SATA SSD is enough, SK Hynix SL308, Crucial MX300, Samsung 850 EVO are among my favourites.

Any X370 mobo will work just fine. Personally, I'll stay away from Asrock and MSI mobos (don't hate me)

Edit: Fun fact, I do include Asrock or MSI boards sometimes when helping others to create a part list

Lol i just want a reliable mobo that wont shit the bed quickly. from reading a lot of reviews there seems to be a lot of problems with the AM4 chipset as well as bios's from many manufactures. Also i already have a sata ssd in it. I will be streaming if that make a difference in your opinion?

I was going to recommend two boards one msi one asrock...

Budget boards: b350 tomahawk (note this has an additional phase compared to all the other b350s from Msi)

Not really budget: X370 Taichi (top oh the line, wish they would push out bios updates more often though)

But since you say so I recommend the gigabyte gaming 3 as a budget solution, and the asus crosshair as non, too.

My problem with the taichi is i cant find it in stock. I might go with the asus crosshair Vl as microcenter is doing a bundling deal with the ryzen cpu's. So basically any problems with the board is just a 20 min drive to the store to get it figured out.

Yeah, I honestly recommend all 4 of those boards, just pick your feature set and go for it. B350's ofc overclock about 100mhz worse and have a few features that are on the higher end boards, but are pretty close. The taichi and the crosshair are in a league all their own for mobo's so far legitimately the best boards you can buy right now. (manufactured as hella overkill boards generally lol)
