i7 7400 for gtx1070

Will the i5 7400 be enough for the gtx 1070 will it limit the performance of the gpu when playing games like gta v, rainbow six siege, overwatch and assassins creed unity at 4k high settings??

Depends on the program, but I don't see anything wrong with the pair. As long as you get the 7500 and not the 7400.

you're not going to be doing all 4k high settings on a 1070  it's more of a 1440p card but.. 

 

it will limit it sorta with gta, but i dont think it'll limit any other game.

At 4k the 7500 shouldn't be bottlenecking unless you're playing like bf1 maybe in gta. If you haven't bought the processor yet I'd go for a 1600

I'd go with what the others have suggested. 1600 beats the lowest i5.

Save up for the 1600, it will be worth it. Only a few more dollars for 2 more cores and 4 more threads.

Make sure it comes with a heatsink or that you're going to buy one.
