Fan coonection questions

Onepoundlion

Hi, guys I was just finished my first ever build, and I found the top fan is really noisy and the I need one more front fan to improve the airflow, I saw on the motherboard manual where to connect the fans so I can use the MB to control the fan instead just plug into the Power supply to reduce the bnoise, then I saw this

It said plug into 3

but the manual and the layout map only show 1 fan connctor, can I polug my other fan into the cpu_opt and AIO pump connector? is that OK?,

Please help

It is a mastercase5 and a asus maximus IX hero MB

Thanks

No problem

Install the Asus Suite, there you can run the tuning utility that will optimise the speed profiles for each fan and allow you to switch modes. On idle mine runs in Ultra Quite mode

I have 6 fans in my case, I use a fan cable slitter to plug in two fans into one port

You can also use the fan_ext port for the 4th fan as in the image.
