Hey guys so ive been long thinking out a build for my new pc which will be in a mini itx chassis the node 202 I have already decided on parts for it I just need to know since im doing this project and I want to get it done fairly fast if i buy all parts but an ssd which would be cheapest and pre setup linux on a usb 3.0 drive would it be able to perform well? I say Ill use it for a month as a drastic measure of time just to make sure Im okay, I will buy an ssd and might go dual ssd or ssd and hd but im not sure about that just wanna have it done reasonably fast and i need to know if a 3.0 drive will hold up.

TL:DR Can a usb 3.0 flash drive run linux and a few games +chrome for maybe a month decently fast and should i worry about it failing?

Im running a small mini pc off of a ssd with a usb3.0 sata adapter. Havent had issues but random lag spikes maybe windows 10 doing some updates or something saturating the USB r/w

I mean an actual usb drive
