I don't know how to plug front panel interface. No manual for the motherboard.

Now figure out if your hard drive is working or not.

Did you plug one end of the SATA data cable into one of the motherboard SATA connectors ?

Turn the computer on and place a finger on the metal case of the hard drive to sense if it vibrates, and/or bend down and try to listen and see if the hard drive makes some noise. If there's nothing, if it behaves like it's dead, maybe you didn't connect a power cable from the power supply to it?

If everything seems to be connected properly, then there should be a menu in the BIOS where it lists all the SATA devices it detects. Have a look in the manual, there's a section there that goes through all the BIOS menus and tries to explain what some of things are.

Just scrolling through the PDF I see a picture there which seems to say you have to click on the Advanced button and there you probably have an option called SATA Configuration , and inside that the BIOS should show you all the devices it detects as connected to the motherboard through a SATA data cable.

It's a really lose connection. Like if I tap on it in a certain direction it falls right out. Like it's not even plugged in. I'm positive it's plugged into the psu though.

So what are you waiting to hear from us? Probably didn't plug the SATA power connector all the way in, or you actually have it the wrong way around

Just look at the power connector and see where the key is :

In this example, the key is to the LEFT, where that hole is in the connector.

The hard drive has the SATA power connector most likely like this:

The  hard drive in the picture above has a SATA power connector, a SATA data connector (both in the green rectangle) , then a bunch of pins that you don't care about, and then there's a power connector that was normally used on the older style hard drives (the manufacturer of this hard drive left the old style power connector there so that people could plug this new style hard drive in very old computers)

See the key on the right side of the SATA power connector ? You have to position the SATA power connector from the power supply so that the part with the key (the hole) goes into the side with the key on the hard drive.

Or if it makes more sense , look in the connector coming from the power supply and see that there's some metal contacts inside, and only on one side of the connector. Those metal contacts must touch the metal contacts on the hard drive connector.

Yeah I know how the key works. But it's just like a loose connection. I see what the problem is. On the left side there is a hole. A hole that is bigger than the little nub that hangs off the side of the cord.
