Something other than DMZ?

Soo, my ISP (Cox) has 'upgraded' my internet (going from 25/25 to 21/6) and now I can no longer play arma 2 online. I keep getting a signature check timeout that is linked to my networked and I found out that setting up a DMZ host is one way and the easiest one around this problem so I have to set that up once a day or it doesn't work but now I am still getting the problem and I know it is tied into my network. Anyone out there maybe know a way around this? Know something different than a DMZ host as it is not secure. Any help would be appreciated. 

 

 

My router is a netgear cg3000d.
