File History and Backup

Hey everybody,

so a while back Windows started telling me that my external hard drive isn't supported as a file history drive anymore.

I'll never understand why.

So... any recommendations on how I can make it work again? I've been without backup for a few months now and starting to feel uneasy...

Cheers,

John

Manualy drag 'n drop, or make a script for it.

But that won't back up Windows files or program files, only your documents.

A script could work though.

Or you could use drive cloning software to transfer your hard drive as is exactly, but I'd check that with someone else since I've never done that.

When I tried it on my own computer, program files needed administrator, and Windows files needed system permissions.
