1050Ti shits all over the 360. That said, we can't sufficiently answer your question as we don't know what you expect to gain from your GPU purchase, we don't know how much either of them cost, and we don't know what GPU you currently have.

Well, if you want something more cost effective, don't spend so much for a 1050Ti, you can easily save $30;

Regardless, an R7 360 for $120CAD is baaad, you can get a 460 for that price;

Alternatively, right in between the 2, you can get a 1050;

470/570 is vastly faster (25-40%) than a 1050 ti, so I'd consider getting it instead.

It's about 25% more expensive. A little more than 25% actually. So, it's not really worth it, especially considering OP specifically stated he wanted a more cost effective card. That said, if he's expecting to play AAA titles at very high settings, a 1050Ti isn't going to cut it.

Read my post above. Get a 1050Ti for $180, or go for the cheaper 1050. Otherwise, you can get an RX 460 for the price you were seeing 360's. Any of those will let you play games comfortably. The 1050 is a good middle ground.

Knew it was more than 25%, I was a tad off with 30/35% lol. It's not really worth him spending the extra IMO, specifically because he already stated he was looking for a more cost effective GPU. If it were me, I'd personally definitely spend the extra for a 470, but then at that point you can spend an extra $20 or so for a 480/580.
