how to connect to my motherboard

I bought a new fan but it is a 3 pin connecter and it is a 4 pin on my motherboard. what can I do!!!!!

If you want to control it you need to buy some kind of Fan speed controller.

I have a gigabyte z77 with fan control but it is 4 pin and my fans are 3 pin so it can't connect. I might take a lock at some fan controllers

your fans can and will connect, im using my nh-d14 off of my 4 pin cpu plug (the fans are 3 pin)

Plug it in It will work as most mobos in the bios can change if it is a 3 or 4 pin fan you are pluggin in to it. If you set it to 3 pin it will use voltage control if you use 4 pin it will use pwm
