Youtube broken on Chrome

So last night and today I've been having some issues with Chrome and Youtube.

Basically for the vast majority of videos I watch the description, comments, suggested videos, the search bar at the top and even the Youtube button on the top left are missing, it is nothing but a white page with the video.

The video plays just fine, there is just absolutely nothing else on the page.

 

When I browse with Firefox Youtube works but I noticed that the description, comments, suggested videos ect can take a moment or two longer than they typically do.

I've tried disabling and reenabling my extensions and resetting Chrome with no luck.

I may try reinstalling Chrome later but I have my doubts about that working, I've never had that fix any issues I'd had and usually it seems to be an issue on the website's end or a bad extension or chrome update that works itself out in a day or two.

clear your cache, it usually helps

DDU? whats running in the background? do you have any extension that can cause this?

Cleaned out my drivers and installed the latest one.

No change unfortunately.

Very little is running.

Chrome, Firefox, Steam, Windows Defender. Only defender is set to open on startup, I usually only have the bare minimum needed for my PC to run set to run at startup.

I deleted my cookies, cache, history ect.

I disabled all of my extensions.

I reset Chrome.

I uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled.

No go so far.

 

I'll likely just switch to Firefox for the time being, see if Youtube or Chrome push some updates in the background over the next few days.

I have the same problem as of 2 weeks ago except it also exists on FF. Signing out doesn't fix it but going Incognito does!

 

Anyone have suggestions on how to trouble shoot this problem?

 

oh and ABP doesn't seem to be the issue either!
