I just built my Ryzen 5 pc and tried to boot it. All the fans start spinning, but I cant get anything to show up on my screen (tried hdmi, dvi and vga). Also no boot codes from the speaker.
I already seated a single ddr4 dim in each socket, checked for loose screws, checked all connections, unplugged everything not needed to boot, used other pci-e slot, clear cmos and probably some more.

New parts:
Ryzen 5 1600
Asus prime b350 plus
16 gb corsair vengeance 3000mhz
120 gb wd green ssd (m.2 sata)
1 TB wd blue hdd
Thermaltake view 27

Old parts:
Gtx 550 ti (will be replaced by rx 580)
Corsair hx 620w (80+ gold ATX)

Don't link the guide posted on tomshardware, nothing worked yet

Thank you for helping

@smitdylan2001

You definitely plugged the display into the graphics card and not the motherboard right?

EDIT: Because those outputs on the motherboard won't do anything at all they are for APUs, Ryzen CPUs do not have on board graphics

As others said, make sure it's plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard.

Also, Ryzen takes a few minutes to boot on the first boot, so make sure you've waited around 5 minutes.

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Yeah try to leave it booting for a "long" time and see what happens... maybe faulty graphics card ? Hope all turns good for you ...

Not sure if that motherboard have some LEDs to show what's the problem, but check in your manual if you find some info about those.

Or just look at the motherboard and check if any lights are on. Should be small LED.

There are some red leds for the looks, nothing I could find to indicate errors.

It booted for 20 minutes without posting. Also I tried my hd 5750 in there with the same results. Both tried in both pci-e slots

You need to wire up the speaker to the front panel connection; that's the only sane way to diagnose issues on this board. If you have don't have one, you can rig it by ripping a loudspeaker from any other device (old phone/tablet, radio, ..) and attaching the individual wires to the 2 connecting pins using scotch tape (so you won't short them against the other pins). You can then diagnose using this table of error codes: https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1029959

I had the same issue with this board. After the initial build it wouldn't work; then I tried to diagnose it by disconnecting everything including the GPU. Only when hooking up the speaker I finally figured out this wouldn't work (doh). Then the next beeps were about memory. I had to properly reseat the memory in the dimm slot the manual recommends to put it in (a2?) before it would pass, even though it had snapped in on the side with the clip. Make sure to press down on the dimm evenly on both sides to make sure it's in straight; I guess that was my issue.

are you shure you're plugging the speaker in the right spot ? did you check the motherboard user manual ? maybe go search help to troubleshoot at a local hardware store ? maybe it's a simple stupid thing .... check if everything is plugged correctly

Checked everything twice now. Outside the case also no signal. Speaker should be plugged in correctly according to the guide.
