I am shocked I haven't found much from simple googling, but is there a go to wallpaper manager besides display fusion? I am using it and it does work very well for my needs (I run a 21:1 Ultra wide for my main, and my OG 1680x1050 Dell Ultrasharp flipped vertical, so its really 1050x1680). I want to run a different slideshow on each, but for the life of me I don't think I can do that with built in Windows 10 features, and Display fusion seems to be trying to do to much. I don't need all the stupid stuff it tries to implement, I have tried turning them all off but I feel like there is still things it is doing :/.

Are there any purely wallpaper manager programs that are known, respected, and work?

Thanks!

*Crappy iphone pic, but tbh, it actually figured out pretty sweet lighting!*

Wallpaper Engine on Steam has some fancy stuff.  I know @iamdarkyoshi is also fond of some tool the name of which I do not recall.  But, for most people, Windows 10 comes with everything you need already.  I believe it's not commonly known but you can easily set a different image on each monitor without any additional tools/programs.  It may not have quite the level of customization you'd want though.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

As far as I can see, win 10 won't be able to have two different slideshows. I have two folders full of pix, one for each monitor. One is ultrawide pix, the other is vertical pix.

Whats the issue with using DF for two different slide shows? I use that option before I bought Wallpaper Engine.

It works, but it feels like DF is doing more stuff as well. Even felt like gsync was trippin out, I'm not sure if DF's refresh rate settings could be getting in the way? I guess my point is, DF is almost to powerful a tool for the task at hand. It does exactly what I want, but it has to many additional features, it touches to many other settings for my liking.

That too bad. I just feel it to be odd solution to pick up another program to do basically same thing. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah it can do two different pictures, but I don't believe it can do two different slideshows

The way they do it feels very much like an afterthought they tacked on at the last minute because they could.  First of all, you can't even browse specifically for one monitor or the other - you have to set one background, then set another, and then right click on the first that is now shown in the history of 5 most recent backgrounds and right click and say "set on monitor X".  The Fill/Fit/Centre/etc cannot be set separately for both, and, as mentioned, features like slideshow is, afaik, unavailable when you do it like this.

I hope, and I suspect, that they will enhance this in feature in the future to make it able to do everything you can with one screen on multiple screens.

But, even with all that said, I stand by my comment that for most people, it's already good enough.  Hell, most people probably don't even know this feature exists :P
