Trying to build a good fast af itx build

Yes, a mid tower like a define R5, Define S, S340, P400, and so on... these all are designed for and fit ATX motherboards... but the statement "I may just go full atx build since I need portability" makes no sense. you got ATX or EATX for features and expandability. you go mATX or ITX for portability. Not that it REALLY makes a huge difference, and you CAN move around an ATX rig just fine.... but an ITX rig is certainly the way to go if portability is your concern.

ya but I need sli for the future though

absolutely no one NEEDS SLI.... but you can definitely get SLI on a lot of mATX motherboards. the only reason you couldn't get SLI on the B350 baords I was mentioning earlier was due to a chipset limitation, not a limitation of size. Get an X370 chipset from AMD if you want to SLI on AM4 or Z270 for kaby, X99 for Broadwell-E/Hasewell-E

looks like I spoke too soon...

Here is a list of all X370 boards known to PCpartpicker https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#c=123&sort=a8&page=1

As you can see there is only 1 available mATX board to X370 so far according to them... and pcpartpicker has only a name on this board, it doesn't look like its avialable from retailers yet... so i guess you gotta wait, go ATX, or go Intel

So I tweaked the build a lil bit what do u think

I think you should link the new build if you wish for me to critique it.

Snip

looks fine to me. my previous recommendations regarding your RAM still stand (upping to 3200 C14 RAM for a $30 increase) as well as your storage/GPU options.... but if you do not care to make those changes then the build looks fine. I have the fractal Define S for my current case at the moment and its pretty great (in addition to all its great features there is a satisfying sound when you hit the power button to turn on your system and it makes you all tingly inside haha). the rest of your components are a solid choice and your motherboard is second to none. have fun with the system!
