Hey,

Looking to buy a new 1080TI and after checked multiple sites (scan, overclockers, amazon, ebuyer etc) I came across Alza.co.uk

Has anybody here in the UK used Alza before? Their prices seem to be £50-80 cheaper than other popular retailers and something about it seems off.

Alza is based in Czech so not covered by the EU Law for stuff like faulty on delivery etc

Bit sceptical as it's a fairly big purchase so want it to go smoothly.

Hi,

I've checked alza.co.uk on Trustpilot:

https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.alza.co.uk

If you want a guaranteed smooth purchasing experience, I would not purchase from them. 44.9% of customer reviews for that website are 3/5 stars or below.

Another concern is that if your items develop faults, you may have a difficult time getting a refund or replacement.

On the other hand, their website says that it accepts PayPal, so I think that you might be able to claim a refund up to 6 months after your purchase through them.

I beg your pardon?

Czech Republic has been a member of the EU since 2004.

Aside from that every business needs to adhere to the laws of the country it operates in.

Seems legit to me, and Google. They use PayPal so you have that as protection.

Prices don't seem that really attractive to me.
