So I got this free Dell precision T3400 and in the past I had been using a old emachines with a AMD Athlon X2 260u terrible computer so I consider the dell a big upgrade but the bad news is was that it had a horrid NVIDIA Quadro FX 570 but I later bought a XFX AMD Radon 6670 1GB GDDR5 for 40$ so all in all the Dell now has 8 Gigs of DDR2 ram 1TB of storage and a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 and I got it all for 40$ but my question is is the Q6600 still good? And can I have a list of all the CPUs compatible with the LGA 755 Socket?

do the LGA771 to LGA775 mod and drop in a nice Xeon if you can. the Q6600 can be ok if you overclock it a bit though.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I found a PNY card on amazon for only 45 bucks. 2 GB of ddr3 vram so that's pretty cool. it's also nvidia. the processor is one of the better core 2 duos, but there are a few quad core Xeon's you can get on amazon for like 30 bucks. awesome. If you can find a MB with 2 cpu sockets (it's on one of linus's videos- something like "8 core gaming rig for 150" or something) you can get a nice gaming machine.
