New notebook laggy

Mok9

I bought my new notebook this Monday with i5 7300hq gtx1050 and 10gb ddr4 2133mhz ram (no ssd). But it run windows 10 so laggy although only open google chrome...and when i installing some games like LOL/dota2 its take 30min to install after downloading. What's happenning to my laptop??? And sorry for broken english.................................................

can you give the model description of your notebook?

You can try and look for programms running in the background, maybe removing the bloatware many laptops come preloaded with.

That should not happen. It is a pretty good one despite the missing SSD.

2 ram are the same with ddr4 2133mhz just diff brands

That might be your problem. Using different ram brands makes the system unstable because the timings and such are different.

And i found another situation, when i run a game LOL or dota 2 is the same with max 30 fps but after some minutes it suddenly get up to 100++fps...and my notebook will become smooth lul

This sounds like a power management issue where it's staying at low clocks

100+FPS after plugged in?

30FPS cap is due to Nvidia Batteryboost

Hi there! Try uninstall bloatware and disable unnecessary startup programs. It may also caused by the HDD.

Then try uninstall unnecessary programs and disable unnecessary startup programs. Too much programs running at the same time can cause the hard disk to slow down.

 

You should also try adding SSD if you have money to spend.

I did not read the other posts before, but did you check if you are in power saving mode? This might be the reason

Yup i speak Chinese and i think thr is no unnecessary programs in my notebook..
