GPU Recommendations?

I'm looking at getting a GTX 1070 and I'm wondering what the best models are. Preferably one that fits a red/white/black color scheme or is at least neutral in color.

Looking for a neutral black? = EVGA

Looking for red and black? = MSI

Looking for grey or white? = Asus STRIX

Get the one wit 8+8 or 8+6 pin connectors because power limit will be unlocked to 126% and you're going to squeeze more out of the device.

Why a 1070? What will you be playing? Have you considered the RX 580?

Nobody should buy it. It's not even a good refresh. 1070 will do just fine

Destiny 2, Battefield Franchise, RTS games. If a RX580 gives solid for in 1080p for those, then I'll take your word for it and go with one of those.

Don't need to take my word for it. The benchmarks proof it. The 1070 is really more for 1440p and not 1080p (unless you have a high refresh rate monitor) 

 

A 580 would slay at that resolution and those games and would only cost about $239
