Suggestion for free OCR software?

Suggestion for free OCR software. just scan english document and the text is more than enough for me. Using windows 8.1 if that matters. Thanks in advance.

Windows 8 version should work on 10 in compatibility mode. Edit: Oops, you are already using 8.1.

Look at the software suite that comes with your scanner, most OotB packages have decent OCR software included :-).

 

I use the one provided by brother all the time, great stuff. :-)
