Best way to clean mouse and keyboard

I figured just any general surface cleaner would work fine, but what do you guys chose to use to clean off your mice and keyboards?

lysol wipes for surface dirt and grime.  Compressed air for internals

what mouse/keyboard

for keyboard, i usually take off keycaps and use compressed air, then after that drown my keycaps in soapy water

for mouse, i just clean off the areas where my hand is usually rested with rubbing alcohol (so only the mouse buttons for me, claw grip!)

If you can, remove the keycaps and use compressed air (or water if your keyboard is waterproof/resistant) to clean it off. For the mouse, just wipe it off with some kind of damp wipe.

Just wipes for surface dirt and grease etc. Use a brush first to get anyhting loose off first, a paintbrush is fairy handy at that.

With a mechanical keyboard you could remove all of the key-caps and brush it out, vacum it and wipe it down.  Then I'd wipe down each of the key-caps and put them all back on.  With a mouse I'm not so sure...  Sorry!

For my laptop, I wet one microfiber cloth, wipe it around the keyboard, then use another one to wipe it down.  Basically same for my mouse, but I don't clean it AS often.
