Photoshop problem HELP :(

I get this error The smart object is not directly editable while trying to cut image, how do i fix this? 

 

The past 1 hour im looking at youtube videos about this problem and none of them helped

Smart objects feature non-destructive editing. If you don't know what this is, read up on it and decide if you want to work that way or convert the layer to a normal layer and continue about your day.
