Is this program a virus?

My friend somehow got Slimclean and Driverupdate by Slimware on his PC and I deleted them (not neccesarily a virus but useless and eats up resources) but he also has Web Companion installed and I don't know what it is. Should I remove this program?

My rule is, if I don't use it or don't know what it does, I delete it.

Run Malware bytes just in case. And who the hell even uses driver installers? They are useless AND usually full of crap too. Every time you install something that isn't open-source or "popular", you don't go spamming next and accept.
