Hi, I have just upgraded my GPU from a HD 5770 1gb to a HD7770 2gb ive installed the latest drivers and things seems to be fine on upgrade for now.

But now my system is constantly using 100% disk from "system" which wasnt an issue until i upgraded, i have disabled windows search and superfetch but i am still having issues with the system

Has anyone else had this issue on windows 10 64bit? as i am stumped as to what could be the issue and why my system wont even out when it is idle

any help is appreciated!

I have a 2.5" seagate 500gb drive. in the course of posting this the system now seems to have settled down but i am going to see if it is a re-occurring issue when i reboot

i have never seen an issue with this at all until i upgraded and ive been using win 10 for over a year now

my disk usage seems to be settling around 3-15% now

I have had the 100% disk usage error on my laptop. I think its caused, if you dont give Windows time to Defrag your HDD. I found that after Defraging the drive it worked better. I think it could be Windows Defraging and causing the slow down, as Windows will defrag (HDD) or Optimize (SSD) automatically and it does it without warning.

I will say, Ive only had this problem on my laptop that has a boot drive as an HDD, where on the desktop that has an SSD doesnt have any issues like this.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
