Hello, i have problem with my hdd. It is a samsung model I haven't used it for 1.5 years as it was sitting in my drawer. The problem is that it doesn't spin. It is warming up if I leave it connected for 10-15 minutes but no signal on pc. What could be the problems?

It's likely an issue that's unrelated to the HDD. Is it a laptop?

Its from laptop my I am using it as external HDD atm. Because I swapped this hdd to an ssd.

When you say no signal from PC, what do you mean? Does the SSD installed in your laptop even boot into the OS? Are you trying to boot off of the HDD?

Are you able to boot into Windows from the original SSD is what I want to know. If you can, have the HDD unplugged until Windows boots up from your SSD, then plug the enclosure in.
