youtube video length problem

Ok, I ran recently multiple times into an annoyance with youtube. As you can see the image shows that the recorded youtube stream is over 5 hours long.

When I click on the video it is suddenly only 2 hours long. I know he did stream way longer because I watched part of it.

I had this problem with 3 different youtubers so far and it really pisses me off, because the part I want to watch is not there. Does anyone have an idea what the hell is going on or had the same problem?

Well, I can't find the video in question to verify this. I found one 7h video which was 7h. It is possible that search listing shows full stream time but the actual video is cut shorter.

That would explain it. I don't see another logical explanation for this.
