Combining Mic Feedback and DAC Output

Hey Forums,

I have been trying to figure out how to combine the real time audio feedback of my AT2020+ and the sound from my DAC. The mic has a 3.5mm jack that is uses to give the real time feedback and the mic is connected to the computer via USB. My DAC is the one that came with the Asus Rampage V Edition 10 and connects via USB to the motherboard. The DAC has a 3.5mm and a 6.5mm output that can be used. I love the sound of the DAC, but I also want to be able to use my mic feedback feature because I have close backed Sennheiser HD8's and it makes it impossible to hear myself while in VOIP applications.

What is the optimal way of setting this up? It seems like a simple 3.5mm splitter (female to two male) would work but those seem only to work in reverse. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
