Doubt it, thats skylake.  Honestly, a build like this is great for things like MC CSGO and probably even OW

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

I am pretty sure that you can buy dell and HP's standard build PSU for a few bucks on Ebay and you can be sure of QC.

That's a fine first cheap build for the buck. With 4 more gigs of RAM he could play some new titles at console playable levels (ei. the much maligned Mass Effect Andromeda runs on the same cpu and a 550 ti 1gb gets 19-31 fps at low settings. Interesting youtube vid that was!).

The only thing I will say is upgrade the RAM 4 gigs, then GPU. What is the issue with the PSU? It gets very good reviews from what I have seen.

It's just that 3rd party/ non-big company PSUs have worse efficency most of the time and well they are generic.

570 is like a RX 460 so OP should be alright for casual games.

4GBs of RAM is fine for now though. (PS: 2x8GBs stick of Crucial ram anyone?)

Edit: It's DDR3 though q.q. got the RAM right before I changed computers and it's sitting in a corner now.

Im having no issues with the build or the psu so far it ran everything i threw at it even cities skylines on medium which surprised me alot as i thought the cpu would just drown

Yeah 160GB is just horrible.

A 4GB stick of ram is going to be $30 for a good brand with $15 for el cheapo ram.

If you buy ram just wait it out cause RAM and NAND prices are going up up and up.

TBH most CPUs these days can run CPU-intensive games well enough it's just that GPUs get bottlenecked.

Still for a 2 core 2 thread cpu its preety darn good and i thino the bottleneck was ram not gpu

Yeah 4GB of ram means maybe around 2GB of ram for the game with WX and AV (with the other background processes) taking up the rest of it.
