Thanks for the help anyway!

Hello,

I had to build a pc for someone, but now im stuck with a problem.

a few days ago the pc ran perferctly, but when i tried to turn it on yesterday it kept turning itself off and on again after a few seconds.

It's just stuck in an infinite loop of on/off/on/off etc.

The things i tried:

-Replacing the PSU with one i knew that worked perfectly

-Replaced the RAM

-Removing the CMOS for a couple of seconds

-While the pc was stuck in the loop I pulled the power button cable from the motherboard to check if it wasnt a faulty power button.

When i removed the CMOS it ran for half a minute and then it turned off (and on) again.

Also there arent any beeps coming from the motherboard.

All points to it being a dead motherboard, but i'm kinda hoping it's something else, so maybe you have some suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Echelon

I'm not at home so i cant tell you exactly, but its something like this:

Hasswel i3

Asrock B85 (i believe)

Kingston 60GB SSD

No graphics card.

The BIOS does not load, it turns itself off before my screen can even get a signal.
