Monitor

Ques2.0

I just built my gaming pc this morning Installed the OS and everything. The gpu I'm using is an old gt 740 2GB SC and I have a older monitor that only has HDMI and VGA ports. The GPu has dvi and mini hdmi. I bought a mini hdmi to hdmi cable from Amazon the only problem is it won't scale like it's suppose to I can't see the right icons on desktop how do I fix that

Can you move the picture of the monitor via the monitor's OSD?

Please quote me in any answers to my posts, so that I can read them easily and don´t forget about them. Thanks!

I love spending my time with PC tinkering, networking and server-stuff.

Try DVI, you can convert that to just about anything. Good luck
