I get it on my laptop to does it do the boot animation then go black then boot to desktop?

It goes to Windows 8/8.1 logo with spinning circles, then blackscreen (mine is bright blac, maybe because my monitor is led lcd. Dont know if it makes a difference though.), few seconds later, lockscreen. Any recommendations at all?????

Yea I get a brief black screen after the boot logo. It is probably using the black screen to start up core services and programs before it boots but I am not sure about this.

I got that too, I quite personally think its either Drivers, GPU or stupid Windows 8/8.1

Let me know if you figure it out. I would really like to know myself.

That is the GPU driver loadings, or you are using VGA or HDMI, and it's your monitor that takes time to display an image.

But if you want to be sure, boot into safe mode (Hold Shift key while select Restart, then select: Troubleshoot -> Advanced -> Startup Settings -> Restart, then select 4 or 5 as options.

It's not Windows 8/8.1, else everyone would have it. I don't on any of my systems.

It could also because you use Virtu MVP crap.

your graphics driver isn't loading correctly, either boot into safe mode or use the integrated graphics if you have a graphics card, use driversweeper to remove all video drivers then reinstall the one driver that you need.
