Vpn connection issues

On my new phone I cant use a vpn or tor to browse the web. My old phone works fine with flashvpn, orbot, and tunnelbear. Yes I still have data left on tunnelbear btw. Whats the issue?

Old phone: galaxy s5 active

New phone: lg g5

I have issues on my mobile devices with VPN apps, I had to resort to using L2TP/IPsec instead as the VPN apps would close themselves. If your VPN has those options, maybe try that instead? or even better if your VPN gives you the settings to use openVPN.

Ahh I see, I don't know if it's available yet, but opera may have built in VPN in mobile browser.

No idea, sorry... only used tor a few times myself, too slow for my needs. If the VPN is working, shouldn't need tor anyway AFAIK, but depends on what you;re doing and what VPN you're using, whether it logs etc etc.

Mods trying to not be political but the publicity of sj res 34 brought me to buy a vpn but in the mean time I used flashvpn but it stopped working.

Ahh I see, I would get a good paid VPN then, and use an off-shore server... I use PIA, but there are some great ones out there, protonVPN should be active soon, but not sure of pricing for that.

Yeah, as long as they have servers in other countries that you can connect to and don't log traffic you should be fine.
