Hey LTT community,

I'm a 15 year old "boy" from germany. I always had my Asus G750 Laptop for gaming. I always felt like it was enough power. But the new generation of games proved me wrong. It just feels bad to play on it now.
I always was interested in building a PC and I think now it's time. I'm planning on using it mostly for gaming (obviously) and a bit of android compiling on linux maybe.
The price shouldn't go over 2000€ and be as cheap as possible with the CPU and GPU I chose.
This is what I have so far:

@OP

GPU looks good

i5-7600k is more than enough for just gaming.

Try to get a slightly better cooler.

Motherboard looks good.

RAM, I'd say 8GB would be enough, but if you can fit 16GB in your budget, I don't see a reason not to go with it.

SSD, don't really know how Crucial's SSD are ATM, but looks good to me

HDD looks good as well

Case. Boy, oh, boy. That case is nice, don't get me wrong, but it's a copy of a case EKWB made (IIRC), and well, I'm not a fan of copycats, but this is personal choice, so if you like, go with it. Build quality and shit, don't know anything about it. It's ThermalTake, so don't expect top notch quality.

PSU. Not sure what the market has to offer right now, but it will do.

Monitor wise, don't know shit, can't tell you if you should go with it or not.

That's all, I guess xD

*haven't made posts like these in A LOOOOOOOOONG while, man I miss this, kinda*

Oh, and this xD

Should have went with "guy". It might seem closer to "gay" but it isn't and it's not a weird thing to say.

I think he meant "boy" as in "I'm in that transitioning period from boy to man" kinda thing

Anyways, everything looks good.

I would prefer the I7 though. I always had an I7 and it definitely is helpful with Android compiling :)

I have quite a problem with finding a good not too expensive cooler. A friend of mine also said I should look for the height. It could be that it doesn't fit.

16 GB is also what I prefer. Upgraded my laptop in that regard before.

Its fine if the quality of the case isn't thaat great. It looks great and isn't too expensive so I'm good with it

Yea that's basically what I meant.

Good to hear that. It was really hard to fiddle myself into the PC stuff. Finding the parts took a while

I thought you only gamed, that's why I suggested the i5. But if you do other stuff that requires a beefier CPU, than sure, get the i7 :)

CPU height limit is 155mm... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

RAM, 16gb, period. xD

Should be all gucci then. Have fun buying (less fun part... xD) and building it (most important part obviously) :D

The funnest part is me messing up the building :P

I hope I won't fail it completely as it's the first time ever doing it. But hey, I have to start somewhere

Well, I didn't fail that hard when building my first PC... YouTube videos and such are all you need in order to know how to build one IMO.

Watched many tutorials already. I also have some friends that can help me so the actual building shouldn't be that of a big problem. I'm just still not really sure about this anti static part that everyone is talking about.
