Custom Cooler on 1080 TI FE? Warranty Void?

Just wanted to ask if I added this cooler to my 1080 TI FE (EVGA):

Would the warranty be voided?

 

I have to buy one on Amazon unfortunately, and the only ones they have are FE ones. Apparently it runs hot at 83C with stock cooler so I'd love to avoid that.

No you wont void your warranty 

putting a 3rd party cooling solution on the video card will not void your warranty. However, please take extra precaution when doing so as to make sure you do not damage the card removing the original cooling solution or the card itself installing the new 3rd party heatsink.

Due to our warranty terms cards that do not arrive in original factory condition will be declined warranty support and the product returned at the customer’s expense. So make sure you put the old cooler back on it when you send it in

and @TheNaitsyrk that cooler is ugly af if u dont care about it then use it. if u do its best to wait for AIB cards and sell your reference version.

that cooler is also beastly AF sooooo..... will keep the card under 60C most likely. my TwinTurbo III keeps my overclocked 970 bellow 50C at all times

 

 

EVGA will alow you to mount that cooler from what i know, you should be fine

i live in Sweden, and my room gets pretty hot after i've been playing games for a while ~28C and its never gone above 51C ever, not even Furmark

In my case you can't even see the GPU. And TechCity on YouTube keeps using it, it's really good, but I'm still not sure if it fits 1080 TI. It apparently fits 1080 as it's stated on the Arctic website.

evga is flexible about that

I water cooled my gtx 1070, and later I sent it back because of coil whine. They accepted my GPU without any problems, because I did put back stock cooler before sending it back. Simple as that
