Graphics card does not have power?!

Hello everyone,

I have a problem in the graphics card that i just bought.

Everytime I start my PC, the graphics card will start for a few second(3 seconds) then it will stop. The fans of the GPU will spin for 3 seconds then it will stop.

The monitor dispays "NO DVI SIGNAL".

The other components of the system units is still working(fans, PSU, etc).

Please help me. I don't know what to do anymore.

I used my whole month's allowance to buy it, yet it still not working.

GPU: GTX 1050TI expedition

Motherboard: ROG strix x99

PSU: 730 watts

CPU: intel 6800k

please help me...

Plug the monitor into the motherboard and use integrated graphics. If the integrated graphics work fine you might need to RMA the gpu.

Also, what make is your PSU?

You must have had something before the 1050ti then, try plugging that in and see if it works. Or if you have any friends who's card you can borrow, try that.

The GPU of my last system unit is very old. I bought it last 2006.

I tried my new GPU in my old system unit, it seems it worked even thought the fan didn't continue to rotate again.

Oh lords..well actually its fine using it but i wouldnt trust that psu for X99 built

Try plugging ur GPU into another PC your friends perhaps?

The new GPU worked in my very old system unit. The monitor didn't display "no signal", yet the fan didn't continue to rotate.

what do you think is the problem? is it in the motherboard now?

If the system display something its normal for the gpu fans to not to spin because of the zero desible mode.

Try playing some games with it to put a load in the gpu. or download gpu z and do a render test.

The fan will only spin at certain degrees

In my new system unit, it still not working
