Hi, I'm planning my first time build, and would love some tips from some more experienced builders also some help finding a few parts I'm searching for.. so just to let you know how much of a newbie I am.. although I absolutely love computers.. and I'm an avid Linus watcher!  The last computer I had.. was a 2003 build bought from a computer fair powered by an amazingly slow AMD ATHLON 64.. yes 14 years ago! (Lasted until 2007) I've had a few laptops/notebooks/web books since then. Toshiba satellite/hp netbook/acer one200

So I am planning on starting something a bit better soon!

Im looking for something to play casual gaming, I honestly prefer games like GTA V on console, so I'm more a sim city / cities skylines / space engineers / flight sim x player.

Here is my pc parts picker list: Minus a case.. I'm planning a windowed desk build

PCPartPicker part list:

CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($234.79 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus PRIME Z270-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($158.88 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($119.88 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Corsair Force LS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($89.99 @ Corsair)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($89.49 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Founders Edition Video Card
Power Supply: Corsair 850W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit  ($138.88 @ OutletPC)
Case Fan: Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition (2-Pack) 62.7 CFM  120mm Fans  ($27.88 @ OutletPC)

And I'm still searching for a keyboard/mouse, speakers, etc.. but that's for later!

So what you think?

Oh and for the part I'm searching, and because I'm in Italy I don't know where to get it, a pci-e 16x riser that won't degrade the GPU  (too much) but is long enough to have it placed below the MB. Preferably black..

Thanks for any help!

give or take +/-

No need to spend that much on a cooler

No need for 850W PSU too, get a different one, a Corsair CX450M or Seasonic S12II 430B/520B is better in quality

Don't get a Founder's Edition 1060

Why Windows pro?

You know your GPU isn't counted in the price, right?

So it actually comes to around $1200-$1250...

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I fully support this build. Except maybe add some aftermarket fans to do instead of the crappy H110 ones. I know Vardars are real cheap in Europe.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here
