Hello community,

I assembled this PC in December 2013. Wondering if anyone has a second opinion, ideas for the next upgrade or general thoughts. I use it mainly for gaming.

Thanks for any replies :)

- your cpu is fine unless you want to get a 477k0 or 4790k

- your case looks really good

- for your gpu get a rx480 4gb for 143 usd after rebate if you are on a tight budget or a rx480 8gb for 177 usd on sale

- cooler looks good but if you get an i7 get a darkrock pro or a dh 15 for air cooler or h100i or x62 for watercooler

- get another ram stick for 16gb

Also the PSU. Upgrade to a SeaSonic G series.

Nice! Thanks for the replies!

I'm noticing a pattern here. Some of you are suggesting and AMD GPU as an upgrade. Any reason in particular other than the price? I am mostly concerned with game compatibility. Most of my games have been running well with the Nvidia card. Could I expect the same with AMD?

I just watched a video review on the dark rock pro cooler. That thing is a tank. I might have to switch out my ram for it all to fit together. But there are other options.

Also, is Seasonic a reliable manufacturer when it comes to PSU's?
