.

you see games at e3  games in max setting and when they come out they take the max setting out just to make the Xbox and ps4 not look shit.

the money grabbing fuckers that are running the games company's are fucking up gaming just to make more money,

we need a game company that is run by gamers.

if we can have one game with max setting or one map or just 5 mins of game play just to show what max setting would look like.

take the book a Christmas carol, TV and films can only put so much of the book in to the film but computer games can put every word of the book in to the game

and has gaming is bigger then TV or film you would think there would be one game with max setting.

do anyone know how many polygons a 1080 can put out

and how many polygons are in games.

we need money and a good Dev team to make a game with max setting to push a 1080 to the max and a game that do not get a downgrade

most major AAA games are made for console then ported to pc. Making a game to take full advantage of gtx 1080 is a waste of money, most people don't own a gtx 1080. games are made for mass market hardware, some company such as Ubisoft have a history of downgrading gfx. you can get butthurt about it or just accept it and move on.

well let's take watch dogs 2 and ghost recon wildlands. two big AAA games by Ubisoft that contain plenty of demanding settings if you want to stretch your PC's legs. just go look at a video demonstrating the various settings you can dial. and neither of those games don't have a massive downgrade in comparison to the downgrades WD1 or the Division had with respect to the E3 reveals.

I'd rather not have a company run by a "gamer". He should be a business man, programmer, or someone passionate about gaming like Satoru Iwata. I really rather not have someone that rages when something doesn't go their way.

That said, just wait 2 years. The 1080 will be as slow as a 780 is today.

you miss the point don't you wont to see what a game pushed to max setting

to see what it would look like.  just to have one game that could show the power of the PC.

i see how it would be a waste of money for the big games company's  it would have to be a kickstarter but to have one game that did not have a downgrade.

a programmer or someone passionate about gaming is a gamer.

by business man are you saying someone who will make has much money has possible if so would it be better to have  someone who would put the game and gamers first.

and why would a gamer be someone who rages when something doesn't go their way

we have lots of games that show the power of pc like witcher 3, modded skyrim, The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter, modded star wars battlefront and many more that push pc to its limit. hardware improves really fast, a gtx 1080 is not even the highest end card anymore, soon 11 series will roll out. gaming industries focus on platform whare the money is, if a game makes lots of money in a platform they will focus on it more.

they take the max setting out of witcher 3 if you look at  e3 the witcher 3 got a big downgrade. mods can do a lot but to put max setting in the game i think modders could do it but it would take a lot of money.

not everything is a downgrade but in the end of the day there is more to a game than just good graphics.

all PC games are downgrade none of them have max setting and none of them are pushed has far has they can be.

yes there is more to a game than just good graphics but that is not the point they are taking max setting out of games just to sell more on the xbox1 and ps4.

they should keep max setting in the games and just say yes PC looks that good.

Well wildlands is fuckin impressive as fuck

the draw distance is incredible and everything looks insanely deatailed

and i I only get 60 fps maxed out at 1440p with my rig

same with watchdogs 2

gtav on pc shits all over the console version

crysis 3 maxed on pc shits on every game that's ever been out on console ever

ffs farcry 3 is stunning at max settings and pisses all over the console version

and same with farcry4

tomb raider and rottr  destroy the console versions by miles

look at dues ex mankind

titan pascal can't hold a solid 60 at 1080p maxed out

there are plenty of games maxed out are far superior on pc

but whats the point when when the most important thing is the gameplay and story

somethings get downgraded because they look good in the trailer but kill the game beyond playing for the most part

and if  that were the case I'd be crying about my new 1080yi can't run witcher 3 on max setting with 24fps

AMD (and proud) r7 1700 4ghz-

also (1600)

asus rog crosshairs vi hero x370-

MSI 980ti G6 1506mhz slix2 -

h110 pull - acer xb270hu 1440p -

 corsair 750D - corsair 16gb 2933
