Hey guys, so I had downloaded 50gb or so of a game onto my hard drive, and then I put this hdd into another pc and deleted the files on that pc's windows install. The 50gb are still taking up space, and I can't find the goddamn files anywhere and I'm about to flip my shit. Somebody please help.

The files may be stored under a different user name - the one that was logged in on that other machine.

So when you're searching for files now, the search application may not be able to go inside the folder belonging to that user so it may not list the folder hiding in the recycle bin or another place.

Use a software like WinDirStat but make sure you run it as Administrator, right click and select the option or press Ctrl+Shift+Enter on the executable.

Administrator accounts are usually allowed to scan/list/browse contents of folders created by any user.
