I bought a new motherboard and I want to keep my stuff on my hard drive when I install the new motherboard. The thing is, is that I think I might have an OEM version of windows. I bought another oem version of windows, and I want to know if I will still have my stuff on my hard drive when I install windows on my new motherboard.

You should clean install windows every time you change motherboards.

Well back it up or something, or get another drive and install windows on that.

do you have EVERYTHING installed on the drive with the OS? its recommended you use one HDD/SSD solely for windows. and other drives for programs and random stuff. this helps in cases like these when you gotta reinstall windows. your stuff won't get affected. if you're not gonna get another drive, only option is to backup your stuff, mostly everything under the user profile and reinstall windows. no way to backup programs though if it's on the same drive as the OS.

You should ALWAYS have a backup, external drives are cheap now a days. But remember, having 1 copy of something on an external drive/internal drive is NOT a back up, you need at least 2 copies on 2 different devices (HDD, SSD, flash drive, cloud, etc.)

Learned that the hard way many years ago...
