As the title says I'm deciding between two silent cases. The first is the Define R5 and the second is the BeQuiet! Silent Base 600. I would like a the windowed version of either case. From what I've read the Silent Base still maintains silence with the windowed version. I have not heard the same about the Define R5. If someone can confirm the noise level of the Define R5 with the window I will probably go that way because of the drive bays. I'm open to any suggestions. The case just has to be a silent case with a bit of style to it. I know the Define R5 has zero style but it wins in the practicality department with me. I'm also just air cooling with the system.

Have you looked at the Phantex P400S Silent Edition? It's also a silent case (I own it, it's quiet) but the tempered glass on the side takes up the entire side and not just a mid-sized window.

Check it out!

Both of those cases are nice. As for the P400 series....I have 2 of them. The p400s and the p400 Tempered glass. They are both fairly quiet but in all honesty the Silent Base 600 is quieter. But here are pics of both my P400 cases.

Those cases look great! I like the shot glasses in the one :)

Silent Base 600 huh? I'll keep that in mind for my next build, thanks!

Thanks. That one is mine. Has the Normandy SR1 model and my N7 and Afterlife shot glasses. As well as an N7 case badge on the front of the case. The next step is a custom paint job on the case itself for my complete N7 theme.
