use this as a guide to make your decision. in general the s12ii is revered as one of the best budget psus out there so you couldn't go wrong with the s12ii

also i would add on that you should generally get a psu in tier 3 or higher for safety reasons. after looking at the psu tier list it is pretty clear that the seasonic power supply is the better buy.

also on a side note i would have to agree that you should get a non founders addition card unless you are getting a really good discount compared to an aftermarket gtx 1080. also i would highly suggest getting an ssd boot drive as it will make your system run better.

They aren't as high quality...

I hv a bad feeling about getting seasonic because it is old and it is based on a older group regulated circuit design...reviews r good but n but...even it is hard to find seasonic psu..there r not much in the market...

Well, the age of a platform doesn't really matter too much. As long as the design is solid, it'll still be good. Yeah, sometimes seasonic is hard to find.

My old Cooler Master Silent Pro M (2010...80 plus only) still works like a champ today though I just use it as a test power supply now (I have a AX860i)

All of the power supply you had listed are group-regulated.

Can you provide a link to the stores you can buy from, as well as the budget?

Bequiet components r not here..india

oh.

just btw: why do you even consider upgrading your PSU?!? I mean you've got 550W, a good PSU, but a horrible mobo/CPU/case combination.

...A corsair VS series PSU is not remotely a good PSU...

with "good" I mean not a piece of shit that should wear a 20% efficiency warning sticker on its all gray generic housing.

The ones that are built into prebuild pc´s that suck.

I live in india but in india these type of psu r much in respect i mean to say it is a good brand but ppl dont know anything abt good psu they r happy with it is really awkward to tell u companies like zebronics and circle psu only (7 $ usd)...lol..more over watts does matter here..
