Depends what you define as decent.

If you want a Mechanical keyboard, expect at least like $70 USD. If you want RGB backlighting too, expect more of $120-200 USD.

For a mouse, anywhere from $30 to $100. I'd suggest the Logitech MX Master, I have one and it's fantastic.

For a headset, if you're set on one, check out the HyperX Cloud IIs, they're around $100 I think. Other than that, I'd suggest getting a good pair of headphones and an Antlion ModMic.

And for a mouse mat, that's up to you, there are dozens of colors, materials, sizes, etc...

What will decent peripherals set me back?

Im not talking about the Razer Mamba Wireless and such, but a step down

I need a Mouse, Keyboard, Headset (not necessary) and Mouse mat

Suggestions are welcome

Mechanical, rubber dome or shitty keyboard? It all depends on personal preference for me I'd have to spend around £80-£100 for all my peripherals for everyday use.

Modmic is dank. You're better getting a pair of headphones with detachable cables and getting the Vmoda boompro so you only have one wire instead of a long AF second cable messily tacked on.
