Need 500-600W PSU

Can anyone help me find a good Semi-modular psu for up to 100 usd?

 

Atm going to replace my existing XFX ProSeries XXX Edition 750W PSU with a terrible coil whine.

Just get Full Modular. 550 or 650 G2, and M12II 520W are good. If you really want a semi, get the 750 B2

I know you specified semi-modular, but what about this fully modular unit? It's a SeaSonic unit that got a 9.7/10 on JonnyGURU when the non-modular unit was tested. This fully modular is only $67. It has a $10 MIR if you get it through, it'll make the PSU $57. Other load ratings (520 watt for $63 + $10 MIR, 750 watt for $93, or 850 watt for $150) can be found on the newegg page as well. I can't find a better value option anywhere.

i can personally vouge for my evga supernova g2 650w. Comes with every cable you're going to need, nicely sleeved and all black. and it's probably the quietest fan in the pc when running.

It's better and shorter, but probably not.

The RMx is better than the G2 550W and the G3 is better again, that said they are all very good PSUs and you cannot go wrong with either of the 3 and I would get the cheaper out of the 3.

 

If you want rhe literal best, get a Seasonic Prime, but you are paying a hell of a lot more for the enthusiest tax since it is the best.

The Corsair RM750x is 10 dollars more than the RM550x, is the extra 200 watts worth the 10 dollars?

 

An upgrade from RM750x to RM850x is 35 dollars!! Holy shit

 

RM550x 115 dollar

RM750x 125 dollar

RM850x 160 dollar

 

edit: I have to pay shipping as well for the RM550x.. which is another 12 dollars... so the choice is pretty obvious here
