Heya all,

My Ram stays at 98%-99% all the time. I have no idea why because it shouldnt run nearly that much.

Even when im idling or when i start my task manager first thing it also shows the memorry running at full.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this I'd love to hear it.

My ram is 2 x 4gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3

My OS is in dutch but its .

Processor, memory, disk and network

is their a "show processes from all users" button or check box? make sure that is active to see if something else might be using all your ram. You sure the PC is seeing all 8GB?

What motherboard are you using, and, more specifically, what NIC do you have?

I see it's an MSI motherboard, so I'll wager it has Killer Ethernet. I'll also wager you have the Killer Network Manager app installed. If I'm right, uninstall that piece of garbage app and you owe me a doughnut.

Trust me on it. Had the same problem.

The application hasn't been updated properly since the Windows 7 era and is a known source of memory leaks on Windows 8/8.1/10

Memory leaks basically mean it keeps using up memory until the ram and page file is full, without clearing up the memory sectors it doesn't care about anymore (aka garbage collection)

rebooting or shutting down the pc automatically clears all the data stored on them RAM.

Do you happen to have a Samsung SSD with RAPID mode enabled? I've noticed RAPID mode tends to use a large portion of ram for a non-paged pool. Upwards to 1.3gb in my specific case (RAPID is turned on as we speak). I would check your page pool sizes:

Dude... it clearly states that enabling rapid mode will use 2 GB ram og more. Iirc

Yes, but it doesn't show up in task manager's process listing (at least not for my rig) which is why I brought it up. I know that it "recommends" 2gb of ram, but it never specifies exactly where it's being used. It's being used in the non-paged pool.
